The team provided child seats without fuss unlike other companies and on the day of a (nervous) arrival we were met by a smiling driver with a clear named sign at the airport in Rome. I was then over the moon to be escorted to an immaculate Mercedes Minivan having seen other passengers wait for shared transfers and step onto poorly looking vehicles. The journey itself was brisk (like most roman drivers) however the driver was polite, friendly and very knowledgeable. Similarly on the return back to the airport, the comms were excellent and another driver picked us up promptly from the hotel however this time the driver provided what seemed like a mini tour of roma (with narrative) back to the airport. I would have no hesitation recommending MB and will definitely use MB again on our return. Grazie a presto!

Professional, knowledgable, thoughtful and especially great with families including children. Another family traveled with us on the tour to Positano and Maurizio really looked out for the children. I would choose him again and give him my highest personal recommendation!!! The service was great and the attention to detail of the city attractions was exactly what we expected. Always on time and we traveled in a very comfortable 9 passenger Mercedes van. Good value for the money.

Some friends had recommended Maurizio, and we found him wonderful to work with; very friendly, prompt, professional and flexible. We saw more sights in Rome in four hours than we thought possible with plenty of interesting commentary on the city and the sights as we traveled around in a very comfortable van. He also suggested restaurants. We then traveled to Pompeii and the beautiful town of Positano in comfort with out the stress of a rental car or driving those narrow, winding cliff side roads. I highly recommend MB Tours. Thank you Maurizio!

I have traveled with my family and I have traveled with friends. ... read more I would not even consider using another tour outfit. Why would I? MB Tours offers everything I seek as a tourist in a foreign country: 1) Typical of most Americans, I speak one language--English. My guide, Maurizio, speaks English very well. That is important to me. I have been on guided tours before where I have strained my ears to understand what the guide is saying. 2) Maurizio is professional. He is a good driver. I have never been fearful driving through congested areas in his van. Anyone who has experienced a cab ride in Rome, can appreciate the value of being in the hands of a safe driver. He is always perfectly groomed (so is his vehicle, for that matter). He shows up on time and he is not a clock watcher. 3) Maurizio has an in-depth knowledge of tour sites. He always presents Rome to me in a fresh way that makes the trip exhilarating. He shows me newly discovered archaeological sites that turn up as a result of local construction. He recommends new restaurants to me, those great haunts that are not frequented by tourists. He knows where to get the best gelato! I honestly cannot be short on praise for MB Tours because I have never had a single negative experience with them. Each time has been more than wonderful! MB Tours is the best!!!

We contacted him again for our recent trip in Nov. 2017 and are so glad we did.... read more He picked us up from our cruise ship, brought us to the hotel and made suggestions on how we could spend the rest of the day. Based on his recommendation, we visited the Jewish Ghetto, toured the oldest synagogue in Europe and had a delicious dinner. The next day was spent with him on a tour of Tuscany. He knew where to go and what to do to make the most of our visit. On the third day he picked us up from the hotel for the ride to the airport. His charming personality, punctuality and ability to tailor the visit to our interests made this an outstanding, amazing experience.

He and his team of... read more two other drivers (we had 3 vans) were exceptionally prepared, on time, considerate and went above and beyond to make our daily tours an experience that we will never forget. Just tell him what you may be interested in seeing and he will do all the planning for you, from restaurant reservations, tickets, you name it. Honestly, there is not reason to contact other guides, get prices, haggle, etc..Maurizio's prices are fair and service is fantastic! Just as an example, one of our family members needed emergency care for an illness and Maurizio picked them up and drove them to the hospital and stayed with them the entire time. And all of this was done after hours. There is no doubt that when we return to Rome we will give Maurizio a call and utilize his services again. He can be reached via Facebook or email and responds quickly. I can guarantee you that you will not be disappointed.

    Mauricio personally conducted the tour in Rome. He had tickets already for us for the areas we wanted to see. He personally escorted us into the Colosseum & Vatican to avoid long lines which would have extended our stay by at least 1-1/2 hours at each place. He also gave us a map of the Vatican, museum, 16th Chapel & Cathedral which helped us maximize our tour experience in 3 hrs.
    We were able to see up close the Roman Forum, Palatine hill, Circus Maximus & Wedding cake building. We walked around the Trevi fountain, plaza Navonne, Spanish steps, Pantheon and 2 different overlooks of Rome. At the overlooks he pulled out his own map to show us the significant sights we had seen or were in the process of seeing. All this from 7:45am to 6:15pm. So as one can see, Maurizio absolutely knows his way in Rome!

    In Florence Johnathon took us to see Pisa & gave us the history on the way there. He was flexible to detour from the main highway as we headed to Florence & drove for a small period through a country road in Tuscany to enjoy the landscape & stopped to take pictures. In Florence, Jonathan's 1st stop was at Michelangelo Square for an amazing overview of Florence. He then drove us by the significant sights in Florence to orient us before he dropped us off at the Cathedral. Everything was within walking distance & absolutely beautiful. He picked us up by a carousel in a square where there was great shopping as the final activity before picking us up. It was an amazing day in Florence!
