This was the city harbor founded by ancient Romans at the delta of the Tiber river. Later it was hidden by floods and was forgotten until recently. By walking on ancient roads we will delve straight into past everyday life of a refined and dynamic city where the cult for arts and pleasures was sovereign. We will see temples, theatres, basilicas, houses, shops, inns, workshops., etc. Via our return to Rome we can stop for lunch at a delicious seafood restaurant.
