We contacted him again for our recent trip in Nov. 2017 and are so glad we did.... read more He picked us up from our cruise ship, brought us to the hotel and made suggestions on how we could spend the rest of the day. Based on his recommendation, we visited the Jewish Ghetto, toured the oldest synagogue in Europe and had a delicious dinner. The next day was spent with him on a tour of Tuscany. He knew where to go and what to do to make the most of our visit. On the third day he picked us up from the hotel for the ride to the airport. His charming personality, punctuality and ability to tailor the visit to our interests made this an outstanding, amazing experience.

He and his team of... read more two other drivers (we had 3 vans) were exceptionally prepared, on time, considerate and went above and beyond to make our daily tours an experience that we will never forget. Just tell him what you may be interested in seeing and he will do all the planning for you, from restaurant reservations, tickets, you name it. Honestly, there is not reason to contact other guides, get prices, haggle, etc..Maurizio's prices are fair and service is fantastic! Just as an example, one of our family members needed emergency care for an illness and Maurizio picked them up and drove them to the hospital and stayed with them the entire time. And all of this was done after hours. There is no doubt that when we return to Rome we will give Maurizio a call and utilize his services again. He can be reached via Facebook or email and responds quickly. I can guarantee you that you will not be disappointed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her and especially appreciated that we could ask her any questions and she always knew the answer! I would recommend her tour for anyone interested in this fascinating location.

I was a little hesitant booking having been let down by another company however this was eased by the... read more prompt and clear comms from Maurizio. The team provided child seats without fuss unlike other companies and on the day of a (nervous) arrival we were met by a smiling driver with a clear named sign at the airport in Rome. I was then over the moon to be escorted to an immaculate Mercedes Minivan having seen other passengers wait for shared transfers and step onto poorly looking vehicles. The journey itself was brisk (like most roman drivers) however the driver was polite, friendly and very knowledgeable. Similarly on the return back to the airport, the comms were excellent and another driver picked us up promptly from the hotel however this time the driver provided what seemed like a mini tour of roma (with narrative) back to the airport. I would have no hesitation recommending MB and will definitely use MB again on our return. Grazie a presto!

    We had to do a night tour as we booked last minute and MB Tours had been very busy with cruise excursions in the day. You would not know that this was the case, he was enthusiastic and gave us a great tour.
    We did not have any young children with us , but I would not hesitate to recommend them to families. I would trust them to know what would work best for any type of group and would look for his recommendations.

    Sono stata a Roma per tre giorni, insieme a mia figlia di 4 anni, e ci ha fatto vedere tutti i posti più belli della Capitale e dintorni, venendo incontro a tutte le nostre esigenze (e con una bambina di 4 anni non sono poche, a partire dagli orari, passando per le innumerevoli soste e finendo con la necessità di distrarla negli spostamenti più lunghi) senza mai perdere il sorriso.
    ci ha consigliato anche dove mangiare, e non è mai stata una delusione.
    Consiglio vivamente la MB Tours.

He picked us up from the airport in Rome and spent the next... read more few hours with us showing us the area around Castel Gandolfo and taking us to Nimi to enjoy the wild strawberry pastries there! We spent an entire day with him going down to Pompeii and driving up Mt. Vesuvius. He took us to a little shop to enjoy buffalo mozzarella sandwiches too! Our last day in Rome, he took us to a wonderful local place for gelato! Maurizio was always accommodating to our wishes and I would strongly recommend him to anyone wishing to enjoy their trip to Rome. The van he drove was very comfortable for the 7 of us, with plenty of room for us and our luggage.

  • star rating  My husband and I traveled to Rome in February 2015 and used MB Tours for airport transfers as well as a half-day sightseeing tour of Rome and a day trip... read more to Pompeii and Positano. Some friends had recommended Maurizio, and we found him wonderful to work with; very friendly, prompt, professional and flexible. We saw more sights in Rome in four hours than we thought possible with plenty of interesting commentary on the city and the sights as we traveled around in a very comfortable van. He also suggested restaurants. We then traveled to Pompeii and the beautiful town of Positano in comfort with out the stress of a rental car or driving those narrow, winding cliff side roads. I highly recommend MB Tours. Thank you Maurizio!
